1956 Wheat Penny With Errors - Coin Community Forum

Dull1 New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 04/08/2022 2:08 pm I'm apologizing ahead time , this my 1st posting. So go easy on me. I started getting my coins in order, so I could see what all I had. Haven't looked at most of them in years. Started with pennies and I found this 1956 Wheat penny that had obvious errors. I tried a little research but there are so many people out there posting things that send you in a hundred different directions and most of what I find I know isn't correct. Therim on obverse side is noticeably higher than reverse side. The edge of penny has a spot that is thinner than the rest of it. Could either of those two things PMD?
