Mexican Token Hacienda Cieneguillas Question (Grapes Token)

CollectingGuinea New Member United States 8 Posts	Posted 04/08/2022 4:59 pm Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me clarify a question. I recently got a very nice Token from Mexico with some grapes on it. The date says 1824 and I really like the design. Turns out I couldn't find it on any of the books I own, and internet resources are scarce on this piece. Some Facebook "expert" immediately got defensive telling me it is a fake token and I should take it down. Literally just asking on information about it. After some more research I found a very similar design which is the Cieneguillas Hacienda token, and from which mine (if really a fake) was modeled after. The thing is, it does look sufficiently similar to be a totally different piece, and I wonder if it can be some sort of variety. After all, it is a token and not a government emission. He lists various stamped numbers, but 16762 is not one of them.
