I just bought this coin on ebay today after looking for over two months. Let me know your thoughts on the grade. It was purchased raw so I don't have a documented grade. Thanks for your help.

Hi Alan,

Rather hard to see the surfaces for some reason, dark photo or scan, flat?
I would temporarily put it at EF with maybe some "junk/verdrigis" around
the lettering. I know you haven't got it yet, so maybe have to wait.

I saw this coin on ebay and I think you did well. It has a shot at AU for sure. My grade would be AU50 based on the dark pics but I'm a little concerned about the reverse ding at 6:00. The contamination on the reverse should be removed and BadThad's Verdi-Gone would likely do the trick.

The pics are dark and small, tough to grade from. However, the wheat grains indicate an AU coin. With better pics, it could possibly fall to EF-45. One thing for sure, it's a very attactive coins based on those pictures.

Thanks everyone! In my spreadsheet it will officially be "AU-ish". I can't wait to get it in-hand.
