Yea I know about how the cheerios coins were packaged, I was just wondering if this was common, or is it just Littleton, that sell uncirculated coins in cellophane? Just seems odd to me that anyone would sell a supposed MS coin in such cheap plastic!! But maybe it's done all the time, again I'm new to this,I still haven't purchased a coin for a collection, I've found all mine, or were gifted to my wife & I

This packaging looks like it should be in a cereal box, maybe cracker Jack's, or a happy meal, with some cheap toy inside, not an uncirculated coin!?!

Similar packaging was used by the US mint to hold the bonus W minted Lincoln cents in 2019 and W minted Jefferson nickels in 2020.

Cheap packing for a cheap coin. If they pay any more for better packaging, then the packaging would cost more than the coin. But somebody probably paid $10 for this originally.
