At my LCS today I bought some 90% silver quarters $23.88x, a few cull Peace dollars and a 2022 1/4 oz gold eagle. I didn't pay attention to the receipt til on my way home and stopped at a red light. The dealer had accidentally charged me $236 for a 1/10 oz gold when I had bought a 1/4 oz., $566. I decided to do the right thing, went back and let him know. He was very grateful and took $30 off the 1/4 oz price. I was happy for that and paid the difference. I should pay more attention to receipts before leaving.

You won't regret doing the right thing—and that LCS might repay you by cutting you more deals down the road.

I figure the the $30 rebate represents the profit he would have made on a 1/4 ounce sale.
