Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has any idea of what kind of coin this might be. It has a very nicely visible countermark while the rest of the coin is complete worn. I have no clue of what the host coin could be, maybe a french coin?

Diameter 30mm, weight 10.35 grams

I feel you are right with the identity of the host coin of your c/s
Possibly a Louis XV sol..1760s-1770s
