Do you see any edge markings? I'm thinking the medal was struck by the Monnaie de Paris ("Paris Mint"), but knowing what (if anything) is found on the edge will help determine.

@Anzelmas: Thanks for the edge images! They're fine.

The cornucopia present confirms the medal was struck by the Paris Mint. The mark was used by the Mint for medals it struck in 1880 and later.
