I mentioned on a thread from memory having this 5 bolivar chopmarked coin as being from 1935 and Swamperbob corrected me that before 1935 chopmarking of coins stopped. He was right; it was from 1919. Anyone with a chopmarked coin from the 20s?
Mexican crowns stopped being made in 1914.
Last Yen crown I can find is 1914.
Peruvian crowns went to 50% after WW1 and so would not be chopped I presume.
There may be British
Trade dollars (made to 1935) or Piastres (made to 1928) or US dollars from the 20s in your collections with a chop mark or two.
Anyone else have some fairly young chopmarked coins to post?
