I found this penny in a parking lot and it is very damaged. It's either 1982 d, 1983 d, or a 1988 d if it's the 1983 d it weighs 3.1 grams. But also it's missing the "I" in liberty.. is it to badly damaged to be worth anything or would it be worth paying to have it checked out? Any help would be wonderful! Thank you so much..

to the CCF Looks like I can see the bottom of the 2. If it was a good one, the damage rendered it worthless. Spend it.

In that condition, it is worth one cent.
That is why they are called parking lot coins.
