I have not handled many foreign (non-USA) coins and recently picked up this 1807 Mexican 2 Reales piece for $20. I was surprised when it weighed out to 6.1 grams thinking that is too light for the level of wear.
What do you think? I believe nominal weight was around 6.8 grams on these? Shaved rims might be a possibility I guess.
