Picked this up today for melt + $3.00 looks like a better date,am considering an NGC slab for this one. Opinions welcomed and thank you.

from what I can find online, mintage of 148,035 and it's about a $180-220 coin in the condition it's in. For that, the price you paid is quite a steal

NGC is up to you, some would argue the value is there to justify a slab if desired. I personally don't prefer slabs, and in the condition it's in you don't have to worry too much about protecting it like you would a high MS coin.

PNW take a look at the 1888 A hesse-darmstadt Zwie Mark I found in the lot of foreign silver I bought from a junk lot at coinshow. Finally sat down and went through it all its been in safe deposit box since January...bah! I had to do a triple look at that A.
Only way I will get market money on the 1875 H 5 mark is if its slabbed and comes back original VF since I paid so little it should pan out.
