So I am hoping for more from May since this selection seems somewhat limited in audience and given the low mintage and no buy limit... The 10oz Platinum is open for someone to corner the market on this coin

That 999.95 at the end of the price almost makes me think I can. No maybe not!

The May releases have already been posted. A poster incorrectly posted a thread with wrong title. Instead of May releases, that person titled it as "April, 2022"

D'Oh... Should have seen that... I even commented on the late April thread.

The Mint has been increasing the number of its high-dollar releases over the past decade or so. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that the increase is part of the slow transition of its business model to rely more on these types of high-priced/low mintage "boutique" pieces vs. traditional collector coins whose mintages keep getting reduced due to lower demand. The high-priced "luxury" coins offer a higher potential for issue-specific profit, and the lower number of annual releases would likely allow for a reduction in production staff.

Just my thoughts based on my long-term observations - no confirmed "insider" scoops!

Not interested in any of these. Looking for more reasonably priced ones. Is the multifacted animal (eagle) going to be a series or just a one-off? I would like them to release more animals, like the polar bear. My older wildlife ones are milk spotted.

I don't know about the eagle coin becoming a series or not, but...

You may already be aware of them, but the Mint has previously issued multifaceted animal-themed coins:

- 2019-20: High-relief one-ounce silver coins with animal heads

- 2016: Geometric Art Series with animal scenes

Pure Silver Coin - Dancing Diamond TM Sparkle of the Heart - Mintage: 925 (2022) at $899.99 is Awaiting Stock,

All others from the 'Opulence' series are "out of stock" except the ULTIMATE. The Auction for the ULTIMATE is at the end of the month.
