Holders and capsules of what size should I purchase so that classic American coins can fit safely in them.
I am also interested in more modern coins.
Sometimes you need to buy a 0.5cm larger package to make the coin feel free. In my experience, what size do you use?

You do not want the coin to move around in a holder.Measure the coin and buy the appropriately sized holder.

What size capsules/holders do you buy for cents, nickels, quarters, half dollars and dollars.
Suddenly I make a mistake with the size and buy the wrong ones.

Ideally, the size of the hole in a cardboard / Mylar 2x2 should be no more than 3mm larger than the coin. There should be enough clearance surrounding to critically examine the edge milling and rims, so that any problem can be seen clearly.

When it comes to ebay, it makes it easier for both buyer and seller to negotiate a sale.
