40 watchers, $100 with days to go.

Stereotypical fake - note the denticles. One that has been seen many times before and shares its reverse die with several other dates, including the infamous "1776 FF" fake that wormed its way into Krause.

Will likely sell for full market value, and it would be far more time than it's worth trying to convince the seller.

The world isn't perfect, sometimes you just gotta let it go.

A few more recent known and/or identifiable fakes...

Mexico 1776 8R... with assayer "FT"!

"I could not find much on this coin because similar ones were missing a couple of matching letters... Please buy as is no returns no partial refunds no refunds due to fraud." Uh huh. Fraud, indeed.

I enjoyed the 1803 MoFF coin. Remimds me of a 1794 MoTH coin I saw a few months ago. I like the wrong assayer forgeries, even modern ones like these, but am not willing to pay genuine coin prices.
