Is-This-Misprint-$1-Worth-Anything?

Thank you for letting me join this group, my father passed away 16 years ago he left me some things in a box that I had forgotten about. This past weekend I found the box again so I looked through it I found that dollar misprint and I have no idea if it's worth anything or where to take to. I was wondering if anyone in this forum can help me out or point me in the right direction. He left me like 11 other bills. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to CCF.
It appears to be a solvent or ink smear. It looks legitimate and fairly dramatic. These circulated errors typically sell for between $75-$125.
