It appears this dime is solid nickel. Not sure what it is honestly but there is no copper in it like there supposed to be. Can anyone tell me what this is considered please and thanks

Test for plating?

Check between the reeds with a box knife to expose the copper layer. It can be seen without ruining the coin.
