The original discovery coin for the 1999 mule die clash is shown on top, mine is on bottom and on the left in the "united" picture. Thoughts?

Not a Mule Die error. This was hit by either by another coin (Mirrored incuse by another coin) or by a dropped die (Positive on the coin with raised devices) on that area. So it that area incuse(Mirrored), or raised (Normal shaped) on the devices? From what I can see, you can see the devices on the rim. So it is just a contact mark from another coin hammer onto this coin from another coin.

I'll have to agree with Coop. I'm not seeing anything on the rim of your coin that matches the mule..
