The "Underlying 8 tail feather design" refers to all of the reverse die design elements not just the number of tail feathers. The 8tf reverse design was modified with the 7tf reverse design and some of the 8tf design elements remained. The extra toe is from the 8tf design. Report this Post to the Staff

Need better photos as stated but looks AU details/cleaned or way overdipped. $100 is way too much, it is a popular VAM but not a particularly rare one, and you can buy problem-free Unc slabbed examples of the same VAM for $150 or less.
