I have a 2000 1oz Silver Dollar. Upon looking at it under the microscope, I noticed what looks like another L in "E PLUIBUS", instead of the I. So, what it reads is "E PLURLBUS". Right? If my eyes aren't playing tricks on me and this is indeed what it reads, is this a known error? Also, the bundle of arrows look a bit different from others I've compared to online, especially in the middle (the 3rd arrow from the top) It looks...empty, I guess. Any thoughts? Is it common? Rare? Valuable or collectable? Any and all opinions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

That does not appear to be a genuine Silver Eagle. Search google or ebay for photos of authentic 2000 silver eagles and compare your coin to them.

I like your coin. Seem to be one of the last strikes. The both O and R has the marks of old dies reworked in order to finish the production. I know they do 'it this in 2000 (busy year for the mint). I have info for the production but not for the Dies used and reused. It is an interesting coin.

The biggest concerns I have with this are the "U" in United on the reverse, the cluster of stars under the "E" in Liberty on the obverse and the size and shape of "In God We Trust" on the obverse. None of these seem to match other examples of 2000 dated Eagles I've looked at.

No veins in the leaves, shield stripes, eagle face,stars,font.....many problems.
But the PLURLBUS is too much

This is so fake I'm literally laughing out loud.

silviosi- You said you liked the coin...do you actually genuinely believe this is real?

I know nothing of this series but after a quick look online it looks nothing like the genuine examples, what's the weight? Magnetic? If your lucky it's actually silver but doubtful.

For me the first thing I noticed was the shield and feather detail on the eagle, there could have been more then one design for that year though but based on the ones in google it's all wrong.

Easy to spot PUP on these counterfeits is the "U" in UNITED.
Compare with a genuine one.

My instant first reaction:
Fake.
Nevertheless, I would do some further investigation to find out more about it, and to strongly persue the original seller.

Just the letters in Liberty says fake, the L is no where close to position, the other letters are too thin.

lol that's a pretty bad fake. The hash markings in the flag on the obverse is nothing like the genuine ones. I usually look at the font of the date mark first and it looks unlike the real ones. Counterfeiter could've used a couple lessons in classics lol...
