Jefferson $1 Orange Yellow Color - Coin Community Forum

Trailtreker New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 06/02/2022 9:43 pm Hi,came across this $1 coin and saved it because of the color. Haven't seen another one this color. Have tried to find out if it's normal color or something else. Found something about manganese used in composition of coin but still not sure. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate feedback. All original surfaces have been covered, and no luster remains. Possibly polished, but I am leaning toward plating. Suffering from bust half fever.
