Hi everyone,

I plan to purchase it, but before I need some advices from all of CCF members.

It's look like double on the MERICA and some fine doubling on CENT.

This offer to me $110.

Need advice from the expert, is it worth to buy at such price?

Thank you in advance.

Solo

Appears cleaned in these images, not to mention corrosion spots. Way overpriced.

This coin does not look like snow-12 to me. Snow-12 has much more minute doubling as you can see here:

https://www.indianvarieties.com/cen...857-ddo-007/

I would need some clear close up shots of the area in questions to get a feel for whether it's a genuine doubled die or just machine/longacre doubling. I don't recall a listed doubled die that strong in that direction so I'm leaning towards Machine Doubling.

With that said, as the frog mentioned this coin is cleaned and also corroded on the reverse. It looks like a VF Details coin to me and not an attractive example either. I'll bet with enough searching you'll find a S-12 out there someday given how easy the doubling would be to miss.

At $110, I would say this is overpriced and I would let this example go.

Good luck, keep hunting!
