Flying Eagle 1857 Error Need Help For Information Please

Solo Valued Member Indonesia 147 Posts	Posted 06/05/2022 9:38 pm Hi everyone, I have a 1857 Flying Eagle cent coin that appears to have some kind of error on the observe of the coin. And a strange marks on the reverse. Can someone please help me identify what this is error? See pictures below. Also, does this take away from the value of the coin? Any feedback is appreciated. Sorry for the quality of the picture. Thank you for your help! Solo Is this laminating error? Look like eagle head part? or it's just Pareidolia? Some mark on the date. Report this Post to the Staff

Assuming the coin is real, perhaps it spent an extended period of time in water? I'm interested to see what others think.
