Hello all, new to the group. Just came into an old coin collection.

I was wondering if foreign coins with errors are as collectible as US coins.
i have an 1892 2 kroner coin with obvious broken die marks on the back. wondering if this is common for this year.

Looks more like a foreign substance, like solder.

Looks as though the coin has been used as a brooch, with the solder marks showing where the pin and fastener were fitted.

It looks like the coin was used as a decoration. I see that 2 pieces of metal were soldered to the coin.
