Truly an amazing collection and a perfect example of what can be accomplished by a discerning collector with a big budget!
Kudos to Mr. Bingham!
The detail on the Columbian proof is tremendous! The yellowish color/toning on the 1928 Hawaiian points to the coin being part of the Bank of Hawaii hoard vs. one sold at the time of the coin's launch - a great looking piece, either way!

One other comment regarding this. I've admired for a while Gregg Bingham's #2 ranked NGC registry set of classic commemoratives, many of which are included in these auctions. I always enjoy encountering an enthusiastic collector!
I've been known, from time to time, to jot down a few thoughts about the US commemorative series and always appreciate getting the chance to read the enthusiastic thoughts of a fellow collector!

Just a magnificent matched collection. A bit sad that a collection obviously assembled with such care and is being "disassembled". museum quality.
