Unfortunately I don't have a connection for cent coins from the bank, I have been lucky to get 3 boxes since iv started collecting. I just imagine the life it's had to end up in such a low grade and all the way over here in Canada:p

Edit: there was also a 1920 Canadian cent in the rolls iv searched so far, maybe it was someone rolling up great grandpa's old penny jar from the basement lol, either way love finding these old coins unfortunately I don't usually find older world coins. I still have a bunch of the last box to go through so maybe some more fun finds to come. There was a really nice Shiney 1957 Canadian cent but unfortunately the rim has taken a minor beating, still nice to find old blazing red cents pre 1970

Cool find. I also save Canadian and foreign coins I find ever since I was a kid. I always found it interesting to see them here, and just haven't broken the habit of keeping them every time I see one. :)

Just think of the stories that coin could tell. Where has it gone since minting. I always sometimes imagine who held the coin. When I find or see an old coin in such fine condition I wonder how could this coin be in such great condition after all these years. I guess that is what I love about collecting coins.

Nice find roll searching. My vote is for 1919S as well.

Those wide rims make me think it was in a bezel at one time.
Maybe it was a momento of someone's service in WW1, the "War to End all Wars"!
