Grimmie New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 06/10/2022 3:13 pm So, long story short - dear old Dad passed away at the age of 83. I'm just now going thru the collection and found this one in a coin flip that said "KEEP". Any thoughts on what has happened to this? I know its worth at least a penny, probably more? Second, as noted above, the rim gets rolled over onto the surface of the coin when it is damaged in a very particular way (I.e. via spooning or rotary machinery damage. From a numismatic standpoint, it is only worth face value, but as a curiosity that clearly was important to your dad, you should consider saving it for the sentimental value.
