I was in Calc Friday and the day was going to slow that I asked to go through my friend's change. Out of the 10 penniescents, I found this:

2004-D-Wide-M-Gap?

Actually, I didn't really *find*, I was looking specifically for these elusive wide AMs.

So, here it is. Is it a Wide AM? And what's the rage over these wide AMs?

Is there a wide-M variety?

2004-D-Wide-M-Gap?

**On the bottom is a 2008 comparatively non-wide AM cent.

I can't see the Wide AM. The Close AM can be touching or nearly so. The wide is really wide.

oh... I read the Lincoln Resource Center. The Wide AM gap was supposed to be between the A and the M.

I guess what I saw was the gap between the two mounts on the M

Yes, you're learning. As you continue to look for them, you'll see the rage. Trying to find one !
