any info on this coin. coin is thick and heavy. I'm assuming trying to clean it would be a mistake. " still has dirt on it from getting dug up I'm guessing."
I'm guessing the green color points to copper, is this correct?

Is the pitting on the obverse normal for ancients?

The "pitting" is making me think it's not genuine.

Pitting is common on ancient coins. No red flags at all for me.

Yes ancients have been in the ground a long time and anything made of bronze like this will likely corrode or leach metal, causing pitting. This doesn't happen with gold and silver, but a lot of ancient silver has been debased with bronze and so also suffers.
