Would this penny be a DD Penny 1963? Would it be worth it to have it graded? Any further information would be helpful. Thank you

Not a doubled die. Just a normal coin. The die that struck it may have been in the earlier die state. (EDS) But sometimes because of the coin die state, new ones may not know about this die state. Just a coin struck in the youth of the die. I would keep in your collection. Someday I feel the coin collectin g trade will recognize these gems for what they are.

Note how fresh this DDO, looks on the DDO area. Most hardly show the extra bottom of the three.

Note the designation on the die wear on the description box.
These EDS coins just smile better for the camera.

yep, Frog called it calling Coop. not a DD. But a nice coin - but I don't think it is worth the cost of grading (just yet)

I agree, not worth having it graded, for sure.
