I Found This Coin In My Change , Is This An Error Coin?

Fromdawn2dusk New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 06/16/2022 07:27 am I am new here so please forgive my ignorance, This is a United States 2016 Shawnee Quarter, and it has some crazy stuff going on. I will let you be the judge, but I am not sure if this is considered an error coin and if it is what do I do now? I am pretty sure it is the only one like this, but please give me some advice? Yokozuna Pillar of the Community United States 4618 Posts	Posted 06/16/2022 07:57 am to the CCF! While there is an error that looks something like this, your coin is showing lots of damage. PMD. It looks like it was exposed to very high heat. The cupronickel clad layer has some gas bubbles under the surface where it has separated from the copper core. The coin looks to have been cleaned to remove the soot and other effects of the fire. ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T!
