new to me, candidates medal. Not finding a whole lot of info about it. I saw a couple on line with the date on the front. Looks like it was worn as a medal in support of your candidate.

Spence, thank you for the info. the shield was separate among other coins in the box. I wouldn't have known they were a piece. I only found a couple images of the token none had the shield.
