The coin IMO is too round to be genuine.

Genuine bronze prutahs of Alexander Jannaeus are generally found in poor condition, and this is the result is poor quality manufacture, and ground burial.
For the numismatically uneducated tourist, such a coin would not attract very much attention.
Thus, it is easier to sell a good quality 'copy' to the tourist trade, which also happens to be quite legal.
