I found this shoved into a Lincoln Penny book. I'm guessing it was cleaned some time ago and this is what has caused the toning. Opinions and thoughts welcomed. Thanks for your time.

Tough to evaluate. Pics suggest slight wear and recoloring. I'll say AU details (unnatural surfaces).

Looks like an old cleaning, but the overall eye appeal is ok.

Yes, the original poster wasn't asking for a grade.

I like the coin. Yes, likely cleaned long ago and is 'retoning' (as they say). Nice coin.
