So then the error I saw could have been legit? I think I started a seperate thread on coins being struck with the wrong collar but can't remember. Anyways I would love to continue this conversation when I'm fully awake. If I didn't already start the topic of coins struck in the wrong collar(pretty sure I did), then I will re bring it up:p Also since installing a die much like preparing the collar is a mint workers job, would this situation be considered a mule? I feel like I'm blending my last several questions into one big possibility Sorry for the ramble of, how's, and maybe not Night shift....... I don't think the Philly mint was tasked with striking silver coins. Does anyone know one way or the other? There may be silver planchet errors from Philly, but I've never seen an abundance of them, meaning circulation coins, or I would have gotten one by now. Saying this after finding 4 varieties on Numista. It doesn't list a mintage # for a 68 Philly silver, but lists grade values suggesting it was a circulation coin, not an error. Smallcentguy Pillar of the Community Canada 1984 Posts	Posted 06/24/2022 08:29 am I see there is a 1968 Canadian dime on US planchet in the RCNA auction. Lot 894, PCGS AU 50. I went through all my 1968 silver before I sold my bulk silver off. I had several rolls. I found quite a few 10 cent coins that appeared to have Philadelphia reeding.
