I'm thinking it's been struck thru grease.not sure.if it was would it be worth more caus how it looks?

@ram, any chance you can carefully remove this coin from the 2x2 and post new pics? The glare from the reflective plastic is obscuring some of the features. Whenever you put a coin into a 2x2, you will definitely want to flatten those staples.

Also, can you please describe which design details are missing from the grease in the die? I'm not seeing what you are, so a little guidance would be awesome. Thx.

Unless the area in question is hidden by the glare, I'm not seeing it either.

My thoughts as well, Jimmy - and if it is there it is most likely a weak strike due to the obverse elements hogging up most of the metal to form the bust.

Not seeing the usual spots associated with greasers. Perhaps a close up ( out the the holder please) might help. Tell us where/why you think it is a grease-filled die?

the only area I can see on either side of the coin that might be attributed to a Greaser would be where Abe's jaw, neck and coat all connect, that could also be circulation wear, or the lighting of/holder, or even a weak strike.
