My limited experience with crossing ANACS to PCGS has given me the results of PCGS grading it at least the same as the old ANACS grade. The few I crossed were done the same way. I cracked and submitted raw ( very wise choice there). The few I did try this resulted in a higher grade than ANACS. again my observations are limited but it seems that PCGS is very strict on brown coins. I have seen only 1 getting a 66 grade. The coin is awesome and drserves a 66 but ms65 brn is my guess. I hope 66 for you or even 66+ good luck.

Unfortunately that's a coin I saw someone else cross and get a 66 brown. My experiences although limited seemed to be like a 64 red to 65 red and 63 red/brown to 64 brown. As others have stated they sometimes darken in the holder. This happened on a 1915 red brown I crossed to PCGS. Think of this and tell me your opinion, I had submitted later wheats and memorials that I checked and rechecked for over three months using a coin scope, a camera and a loupe over and over in addition to comparing to PCGS AND HA.COM PHOTOS. My coins stayed in Quality assurance for 9 days, two different submissions. A thought creeped into my head that some of my coins went from 67 to 66+ to keep populations low. The coins that stayed at 67 were not high value coins (although 150 to 250$). The higher value coins in 67 were 66+ (happened 6 times in 45 submissions) just wondering. I will post trueview pics compared to PCGS website pics of 67 coins. I am missing something?

Well, I cracked this one, and it went ms65bn. Already had a solid one for the date but this one stomps on it.
