The first and cruder of two acquired today. Thoughts? Thanks! Calabria, Taras. Silver Nomos (7.84 g), ca. 302-290 BC. Philiarchos, Sa., and Aga., magistrates. Youth on horseback right, crowning horse with wreath; behind and below in two lines, magistrates' names: ΣA and ΦIΛI/APΧOΣ. Reverse: TAPAΣ, Phalanthos riding dolphin left, holding bunch of grapes; below, magistrate's name: AΓA. Vlasto 673-6; HN Italy 960. Lovely light iridescent toning. Extremely Fine.
