1935 D Wheat Penny. Wrong Planchet?

I am a little stumped on this coin and I am trying to figure out if this is possibly a 1935 D on a foreign planchette. It has a silver or nickel color but weighs 2.92 g and it is not magnetic.

looks like a harshly cleaned/polished cent on a bronze composite planchet
Metal Composition: 95% Copper - 5% Tin and Zinc

Maybe it has been cleaned with Brasso.
Also the weight is at the bottom of the accepted
Mint tolerance for a wheatie.
