Hello everyone, I wanted to buy this coin because it looks like an error on the dime and I'm not sure what type of error it is. Or maybe it's not an error and its PMD, but it really doesn't look like a damage to me. I would appreciate it if anyone could help out. Thanks

Looks like a combination of a very worn die and a mild Struck Through Grease.

Is it worth paying $5.5 for this?

In my opinion, no, not worth $5.50 for this. If you like it, however, you wouldn't be breaking the bank to get it.

not many have that much obscured by grease, so I'd pay a small premium for it, maybe $1
