I was wondering if there was an abbreviated version of the 7070 album(less the gold, and commemoratives)?

You can get the album w/o the gold pages, I have one. Also in mine the Commemorative half dollars are include on the page with the regular half dollars and the silver dollars. The dollar commemorative dollar is include on the page with the Bicentennials, modern coinage ( Susan B, Sac., and State Quarter)and SAE so I don't think you can eliminate those.

I reckon that I could always take those pages out that I did not want (could change my mind later on).

Or you could just buy a Dansco with blank pages and pick the pages you want. A custom "7070"
