An other find from the week end. 1899 with last 9 recut at bottom. Graded EF-45 by ICCS.

There are actually at least 3 different types of the 9/9 on the '99's with different offsets and placement.

That looks like the one from page 346 of the 2011 Charlton large cent variety section.

Yes looks exactly like the one on that page 346. Here's one with my microscope.

It would be best if you would remove it from the holder before photographing.

The coins photographed for the 1899's in the 65th edition were, I think, my own personal coins. The 5 of us who wrote the variety section for the 65th edition are all active members on here, but not as active when we used to be on the old CCRS site.
