Ronald, who is listed on the notes, was a bank teller for the bank and was found to be embezzling money. Ronald's modus operandi involved him instructing patrons to write him checks that would supposedly pay off account deficits. Blacksburg is home to the ever-growing Virginia Tech and banknotes from Blacksburg are extremely rare. Hokiefan should like these. Report this Post to the Staff

Some of citizens supported slavery and some, mostly from the western areas of Virginia remained loyal to the Union. The state split and the two sides never reconciled again.
