Bending my poor neck back and forth (at my age) is just painful. I could give opinions as to what is going on here, but it would be mere conjecture and most likely wrong. It could also be something on the surface that's filled in the details. PLEASE post new pictures of both sides if you can. I really want to see what is going on with this coin! HGK3 Pillar of the Community United States 572 Posts	Posted 07/11/2022 10:23 pm Looks like a pre-cud on the obverse at 12 o'clock, or possibly a die break, with matching strike weakness at 6 o'clock on the reverse in addition to whatever else is happening on the reverse. Dearborn Moderator United States 95740 Posts	Posted 07/11/2022 11:10 pm I can buy into the artifact at the top of the head as a pre Cud and a lot of displacement of the die (upwards) and hadn't fallen out yet. There is a corresponding weakness just opposite it. Coult the reverse die be almost broken in half? PLEASE, Please post up better pictures of this coin. Collecting since 1972.
