Poll Question
I was wondering how many people concentrate on buying individual coins or rolls or other bulk quantities.

I, myself am more of bulk buyer. I'll buy rolls of wheats or merc dimes, and maybe pull one or two out that I need. The only individual coin that I've bought is my UNC 1909VDB. I'll have to start buying eventually, if I ever want to finish any of my series' that I'm working on.

Poll Choices
 I'm a cherry-picker. I usually only buy that one coin that I need/want.
I'm all about more bang for buck. If I NEED a coin, i'll trade for it.
 I do both about equally.
Neither. I'm a bank roll hunter. I get everything out of circulation, for virtually no net cost.
I don't even roll hunt, strictly pulling from circulation out of my pocket change.

Actually, I've done all of these, but getting something cheaper is better.

I'm a world coin collector. Pretty much everything in my collection came from dealers or the local coin club auction, or gifts from holidaying friends/relatives.

I buy rolls & sets only from the mint thats the lowest cost to me and (some times) key dates from the secondary market but if I realy want a coin then I will pay top dollar for it !

After amassing my collection from dealers, etc for the past 35 years, I have started to roll hunt with my daughter. It's quite fun and I've pulled out a few things for myself.

Why have 100 of the same thing when you can have 100 different items?

I try to by small bulk lots of various type coins (about 5-10). I keep the ones I like and sell the rest. I'm pretty conservative with my bids, though.

Didn't vote. I vary my methods of coin collecting to often. Never mess with rolls. Most are from people that have already searched them. Occationally do get a bag of coins from the bank though. Way to many coin shows, coin stores, flea markets with coins for me around here.
