I currently have a 1989 D quarter but this particular quarter has a bizarre error. It seems to be stained a light goldfish color on front but on the opposite side it is multiple colors. Unsure what type of error and it's value? I included link to picture.

Your coin looks to have surface staining from environmental conditions and circulation. This can happen to any coin over time. It's not really an error, as this happened after the coin was struck.

Please show both sides of the coin when posting.
Not an error, your quarter just has environmental toning.
No extra value as this happens after the coin was struck.

Yup, environmental staining/toning/discolourization. Post mint damage.
