1957 D Nickel Possible Error Or Double Die. Possible Error Strike

The damage on your coin is slightly closer to the K:9 position ending just before reaching the W of WE. The OP's coin shows the fold starting at the G and ending at the D of GOD. With the mintage of 136,828,900 for the 1957-D Jefferson, the almost matching circulation damage isn't really that strange or out of the question.
