I have one with the same rolled rim/edge in the exact same location. What are the odds of that happening in circulation in the same exact place and looking exactly the same? Are we sure this isn't some kind of error in the cast

this is just damage. the nickel got hit on the edge and the metal was moved inwards.
Not sure why we have an overlay for this one - obviously not a clash..

It's not exactly the same. The damage on your coin is slightly closer to the K:9 position ending just before reaching the W of WE. The OP's coin shows the fold starting at the G and ending at the D of GOD.

With the mintage of 136,828,900 for the 1957-D Jefferson, the almost matching circulation damage isn't really that strange or out of the question.
