The way I see it, there are 2 bones heads within the bidders list. O***T for hiking the bidding up to 11 bucks, then A***K for topping it off @ 15 bucks.

Somewhere P. T. Barnum is smiling down on the seller. Maybe I could get $20 for a roll of 2008 as the "Last of the Issue!"

Quote: More money then brains or from another country Not quite sure what you are insinuating here? I assume it's that people outside the country would have a harder time obtaining them, and not that we're stupid enough to do this! Don't forget people from other countries are not obsessed with Lincoln or the Lincoln Cent in the way that Americans seem to be. And those non-Americans that are smart enough to have even heard of Lincoln would certainly not be that stupid. I think we can safely assume this has got to be one of your own!

Holy Cow, Batman! Just makes me more irked that I couldn't get any yet... I would gladly have sold a few rolls out of a box for that kind of cash! Then I could actually consider buying a gold coin...sigh. So be it.

We sold a 16-D Mercury dime on ebay for $1200 at the shop. Auction ended today (may have gone higher actually). Anyway, I'm sure if the buyer sends us 12 rolls of 2009 "pennies" my boss will be good with the trade. This is why stupid people shouldn't breed.

The second roll having come from the site in KY, presumably has the stamp on the outside to state that. I am not sure if this would add value but I have seen others on ebay with this stamp currently at $61 and up also.
