I had been collecting since 1980 or so .After checking over them I've decided to place them in airtight kointains and for further protection from air/sulphur compounds , I put them in Intercept shields .
That's to further insure the silver isn't degraded by what some call toning, which is actually removing the bright silver sheen from the mint state coin by the chemical interaction of sulphur compounds on the bright mint state silver "coating".
If let go too far , the coin will turn black, then you can just sell it as junk silver for the metal value.
My dansco album is now gathering dust as a souvenier.
