Hit 4 schools this a.m. Found a little 1.2 gr silver ring at the first stop and 1.2 gr silver earring at the last stop. The 2 in between had already been hit. At least they left me some scraps.

You're right about that Harry. Those pull tabs are everywhere. Can't get away from them. There is one school around here that is on old military property. I find a lot of lead there. I usually just toss them into the woods. In time I should have it all cleaned out.

Just trying to keep you pumped up for the hunt Richard.

Thanks Mr. Finger

A good variety of finds for the past two days. How do you know that an area has been hit? Is it markings? Or decreased hit count? Maybe depth of you finds?

Hey T-H, When its mulch I can usually see were the mulch has been dug up. If its sand I look at the footprints and see the steps they take around everything. Plus there are certain areas or things that should always produce something. Just can tell after a while.

Once again, nice finds. I'm sitting at my computer and as I look out the window I see the clouds moving in. Weather forecast is for another 4-8 inches of lake effect snow.

It'll be June at this rate before I can go...
