I'm working of getting some photos soon. With a little luck I'll be able to post them a little later tonight.

Anyways, my two newest additions to my collection is

1) 1998 WAM cent/penny - Using my grading manual, I am estimating the coins quality to be a MS63/64

2) 1957 D Franklin half dollar - The highest quality I've ever seen of this coin. Not a hair line on it, not a spot I can see anywhere. The luster reminds me of a proof. A very strong strike. I found it at a local coin shop for a bargain. I only paid $10 for it.

The Franklin is nice, however, I'm more excited about the WAM. I've searched and searched and searched for any of the C/WAM's for awhile now and this is the first I've found. Ironically, it wasn't found in any of the many rolls I've searched. It was in my daughters piggy bank. Yes, I've searched her piggy bank...shame on me..... I'll pay her back somehow, I promise.

BTW, what is the future or these WAM's looking like? Any speculation? I'm sure there are plenty of opinions here on the long term future of these coins. I thoughts are, because of the rapid decay rate of these coins, the future looks great for preserved and graded specimens. I plan on having both the above coins sent to PCGS for a professional grading and sealing.

Gratz on the WAM. Its hard to tell how the WAM's will be in the future. I cant quite remember, but out of the few WAM's out there, I think the 98 is most common. Nice find with the Franklin too!
